I managed to hit my bonuses each month ( $450 / 1350 quarterly) it takes a ton of mitigation on your end though. The biggest way to succeed is to learn how those systems are tracking you and abuse it to mitigate stress and nasty customers that you think will leave negative feedback ( these can be overturned but youll need to have provided 100% what the policy is ( mention website, mention a uhc sponsored program and everything to a tee ). Expect alot of " you own the company and etc ". It's a stressful job, you will be the frontline for upset members and abusive ones. There are good days but mostly clueless or angry customers mad they have to have any accountability to check their coverage before service or the ovely complicated ways insurance works and is described or they think it should work. Non-stop workload with heavy metrics and KPI/Algorithms doing the bulk of the " review/ quality" aspects to tell if you're good or not. 3 stars because it provided me with a wealth of experiences, both good and bad, that I’ve used to enhance my carrier post UHG. Once you get to around 50, don’t count on being employed much longer! You might make it, but it’s well-known that they manufacture reasons to eliminate positions once you get a litter silver. If a more senior leader had an idea, no matter how stupid the idea was, you better support it and don’t even bother providing data and insight that shows how bad the idea is. The downside is that the emphasis on data makes it very challenging for entry-level staff. It was a great place to hone data-based decision-making skills. They are the most operationally and financially disciplined organization I have ever been a part of.
